In each country the Medical Credit Fund works closely with local Technical Assistance partners, local banks and strategic partners.

The Technical Assistance partners consist of sort local or national organizations of private health care providers. They are actively involved in promoting the program amongst their members, and in the selection of health care providers participating in the program. They perform a major role in their quality improvement process through the provision of technical assistance. These local Technical Assistance partners also ensure linkages with national policies and regulations of the respective governments. A local financial institute is engaged to provide the loans. The loans run through the bank. The Medical Credit Fund holds a strategic partnership with four Dutch partner organizations, such as PharmAccess, AIDS Fonds, De Grote Onderneming and Health Insurance Fund.

It is funded by private grants and investments and is currently raising additional public and private funds to expand the number of loans to 2500 facilities during the next six years. To this end, the Medical Credit Fund is building an elaborate partnership configuration.
