PharmAccess
PharmAccess is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the strengthening of health systems in Sub-Saharan Africa. Its ultimate goal is to improve access to quality basic health care including the treatment of HIV/AIDS. PharmAccess supports programs and offers services in the areas of medical and administrative capacity building, health insurance, HIV/AIDS and healthcare workplace programs, health investments and health intelligence.
SafeCare
SafeCare is the brainchild of the Joint Commission International (JCI), PharmAccess and the Council for Health Service Accreditation of Southern Africa (COHSASA) and is built on their worldwide experience. The Medical Credit Fund uses the standards to measure and improve the quality of clinics.
Health Insurance Fund
Health Insurance Fund (HIF) is a foundation that provides private health insurance to low and middle income groups in Sub-Saharan Africa. The insurance covers quality basic health care, including treatment for HIV/AIDS. Through its innovative approach the Fund strives to contribute to increased access to quality basic health care, which in turn will help achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
