FMO is the Dutch development bank, which support sustainable private sector growth in developing and emerging markets by investing in companies, projects and financial institutions in developing countries. FMO manages the grant for MCF on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest international organization focused on promoting the growth of the private sector in developing countries. IFC and CIDA, the Canadian International Development Agency, have provided a grant to MCF on behalf of the G-20 SME Finance Challenge Fund.
The Medical Credit Fund closely collaborated with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the developmental and operational stage of the program.
AIDS Fonds is a Netherlands based organization supporting people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. It currently runs several national and international projects covering HIV/AIDS treatment care and support. The AIDS Fonds supported MCF to raise its start-up capital.
De Grote Onderneming ('DGO') is the Dutch business platform that contributes to the fight against HIV/AIDS through financial and practical support. DGO supported MCF to raise its start-up capital.
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation works to help all people lead healthy, productive lives. In developing countries, it focuses on improving people's health and fighting hunger and poverty. In the United States, it seeks to significantly improve education so that all young people have the opportunity to reach their full potential. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has provided debt funding to MCF.
The Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation administers the philanthropic activities of Deutsche Bank within theUnited States, Latin America and Canada. Together, the bank's Community Development Finance Group and Foundation carry out the firm's corporate citizenship commitments through a program of loans, investments and grants. The Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation has supported MCF through investments.
